SINOPSE:
Adèle procura palavras quando fala dos seus sentimentos: da sua relação com os colegas, com os professores e com o seu corpo. Parece que se retrai para não exprimir uma realidade que ainda está a explorar por si própria. Ela sabe que é vista e que não se conforma com certos clichés. Os outros vêem-na exatamente como ela é: Adèle usa o cabelo curto, mas não demasiado curto, canta música, anda de skate sempre que pode e dança, é exuberante, tem uma mente aberta, entre outros.
SYNOPSIS:
Adèle searches for words when she talks about her feelings: about her relationship with her classmates, her teachers and her body. It seems as if she is holding back from expressing a reality that she is still exploring for herself. She knows that she is seen and does not conform to certain clichés. Others see her exactly as she is: Adèle wears her hair short, but not too short, sings to music, skateboards whenever she can and dances, exuberant, open-minded, among others.

Marie Falys é licenciada em realização pelo Institut des Arts de Diffusion (IAD) de Louvain-la-Neuve. O seu filme de graduação, Entre les autres, foi exibido numa dúzia de festivais na Europa, incluindo o de San Sebastián, onde recebeu uma menção especial. Marie continua a explorar temas que lhe são caros em duas curtas-metragens recentes, ambas resultado de convites à apresentação de propostas. A primeira, em parceria com Graines de Cinéastes e Elles Tournent Elles Font des Films, acompanha um estudo sobre o lugar das mulheres em frente e atrás da câmara. O segundo, La Flaque, produzido com AVIF, explora a estética do cinema num contexto pessoal.

Marie Falys has a degree in directing from the Institut des Arts de Diffusion (IAD) in Louvain-la-Neuve. Her graduation film, Entre les autres, was screened at a dozen festivals in Europe, including San Sebastián, where it received a special mention. Marie is continuing her exploration of themes close to her heart in two recent short films, both the result of calls for entries. The first, in partnership with Graines de Cinéastes and Elles Tournent Elles Font des Films, accompanies a study of the place of women in front of and behind the camera. The second, La Flaque, produced with AVIF, explores the aesthetics of film in a personal context.
