Doc.Coimbra 2025 reveals the official film selection

The official selection of the 2nd edition of Doc. Coimbra - International Documentary Film Festival was announced on February 20 at Atelier Semente, a festival partner. The event, taking place from March 25 to 30, 2025, at the IPDJ Auditorium in Coimbra, will present 13 feature films and 22 short films from 19 countries celebrating documentary cinema and its transformative power.

This year's selection reflects the diversity and innovation of the documentary genre, addressing urgent and contemporary themes from different perspectives. The festival includes competitive sections for short and feature films, as well as thematic segments, offering the audience a rich and immersive cinematic experience.

Doc.Coimbra invites all film lovers to discover this programme and take part in the festival, which promises six days of screenings, meetings and reflections on the world through the lens of documentary film.
