Leonor Areal holds a Ph.D. in Communication Sciences, with a specialization in Cinema, from the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences at the Universidade Nova de Lisboa. Her dissertation, “Cinema Português - Um País Imaginado” (2011), was published by Edições 70. She directed several documentaries, including eight feature films: Geração Feliz (2000), Ilusíada - A Minha Vida Dava um Filme (2002), Doutor Estranho Amor (2005), Ópera Aberta (2005), Fora da Lei (2006), Aqui Tem Gente (2013), Nasci com a Trovoada (2017) and Onde Está o Pessoa? (2023).

Érica Faleiro Rodrigues is a filmmaker, curator, and professor with a background in Film Directing (BA from UAL and MA from University of London) and a Ph.D. in progress at Birkbeck, focusing on women in Portuguese cinema. A recipient of the Skillset Millennium Fellowship Award, she directs documentaries with a social impact and secured ICA funding for a film about Women, Revolution, and Cinema. She has worked as an editing assistant at the BBC and served as a curator at the Barbican Arts Centre. Founder of the Utopia - UK Portuguese Film Festival, she teaches in the KINO Eyes program and is part of FilmEU, fostering pedagogical innovation and artistic research.

Ralf graduated in film from the Fluminense Federal University with a specialization in dramaturgy from the HFF - University of Film and Television in Munich, Germany. Ralf has taught at the Fluminense Federal University, Estácio de Sá University - RJ, Academia Internacional de Cinema - RJ and Universidade do Sul de Santa Catarina - SC. Ralf also produced the Brazilian film and culture festival - BRASIL PLURAL - in 13 cities in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. He has been Executive Producer at Plural Filmes since 1994, making dozens of fiction and documentary films.
