Professor no Instituto Politécnico de Tomar, foi responsável pela criação do curso de Vídeo e Cinema Documental. É fundador do Cineclube de Abrantes e da associação cultural Grande Coisa!. É também associado da Livraria Ler Devagar e membro da Federação Portuguesa de Cineclubes (FPCC).

Professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Tomar, he was responsible for creating the Video and Documentary Cinema programme. He is the founder of Cineclube de Abrantes and of the cultural association Grande Coisa!. He is also a member of Livraria Ler Devagar and of the Portuguese Federation of Film Societies (FPCC).
