SINOPSE:
Numa casa colonial no centro de Havana, Malelo vive sozinho depois de ter cuidado durante décadas de María Antonia, uma vizinha de origem burguesa pré-revolucionária sem descendentes. Enquanto tenta legalizar a herança da casa, transforma-a num refúgio para os seus vizinhos que, como ele, enfrentam juntos as dificuldades da vida quotidiana.
SYNOPSIS:
In a colonial house in the center of Havana, Malelo lives alone after having cared for María Antonia for decades, a neighbor from a pre-revolutionary bourgeois background with no descendants. While he tries to legalize the inheritance of the house, he turns it into a refuge for his neighbors who, like him, endure the struggles of daily life together.

Lea Vidotto Labastie (1998) é uma cineasta ítalo-francesa cujo trabalho combina elementos autobiográficos com reflexões sobre as dinâmicas sociais. Depois de se formar em Ciências Políticas, concluiu o curso de cinema documental na Escuela Internacional de Cine y TV de Cuba.

Lea Vidotto Labastie (1998) is an Italian-French filmmaker whose work blends autobiographical elements with reflections on social dynamics. After graduating in Political Science, she graduated in documentary filmmaking from the Escuela Internacional de Cine y TV of Cuba.
