SINOPSE:
Lagodekhi é uma cidade no Cáucaso oriental da Geórgia. É uma encruzilhada entre dois continentes e três países. Cada casa tem o seu próprio banco em frente à porta. São uma montra que envia uma mensagem social e até política aos restantes vizinhos. Mas o mais interessante são as histórias obscuras que os vizinhos têm vindo a criar sentados nesses bancos. Histórias que ninguém conhece completamente e que não estão escritas, mas que existem.
SYNOPSIS:
Lagodekhi is a town in the eastern Georgian Caucasus. It is a crossroads between two continents and three countries. Each house has its own bench in front of the door. They are a showcase that sends a social and even political message to the rest of the neighbours. But what is most interesting are the dark stories that their neighbours have been creating sitting on those benches. Stories that nobody knows completely and that are not written down, but that exist nonetheless.

BIO PT:
Sergio de Vega estudou cinema no Instituto del cine de Madrid, mas desenvolveu as suas capacidades de realização em workshops de cinema com Werer Herzog e Víctor Erice. A sua última etapa como realizador e argumentista foi na Geórgia com o Cucasus Cinema. Após a experiência nas bancadas, concentrou-se na produção de documentários.
BIO ENG:
Sergio de Vega studied film at the Instituto del cine in Madrid but has developed his directing skills in film workshops with Werer Herzog and Víctor Erice. His last stage as a director and scriptwriter was in Georgia with Cucasus Cinema. After the Benches experience, he has focused on the production of documentaries.
