SINOPSE:
Através dos retratos de três homens e de uma família beduína palestiniana, o filme traça um Abel imaginário, o pastor de rebanhos. Na busca pelo arquétipo do conflito, Abel expressa a sua luta pela sobrevivência numa sociedade onde paira a sombra de uma guerra permanente. Entre a Sardenha e a Palestina, o filme narra a vida de homens que sobrevivem à beira de um campo de treino militar, numa igreja desconsagrada e num deserto controlado pelo exército.
SYNOPSIS:
Through the portraits of three men and a Palestinian Bedouin family, the film draws an imaginary Abel, the shepherd of flocks. In the search for the archetype of conflict, Abel expresses his struggle for survival in society, where the shadow of a permanent war, appears. Between Sardinia and Palestine, the film recounts the lives of men who survive on the edge of a military range, in a deconsecrated church and in a desert controlled by army.

BIO PT:
Fabian Volti é cineasta e fotógrafo. Depois de estudar Ciência Política, trabalhou entre Berlim e Madrid produzindo projetos audiovisuais entre a pesquisa visual e o cinema documental. Desde 2005, dirigiu vários curtas-metragens, reportagens e documentários, incluindo Light at Sea (2014, SIEFF), North Trawling (2015), Umbras (2021, Cinemambiente) e, como coautor e diretor de fotografia, Princesa (Venice Days, 2021). Vive e trabalha na Sardenha, onde fundou a Roda Film.

Fabian Volti is a filmmaker and photographer. After studying Political Science he worked between Berlin and Madrid producing audiovisual projects between visual research and documentary cinema. Since 2005 he has directed numerous short films, reportage and documentaries, including Light at Sea (2014, SIEFF), North Trawling (2015), Umbras (2021, Cinemambiente), and as co-author and director of photography for Princesa (Venice Days, 2021). He lives and works In Sardinia, where he founded Roda Film
