SINOPSE:
Amadou deixou a Guiné-Conacri aos treze anos. Três anos depois da sua partida, atravessou a fronteira francesa, escondido no porta-bagagens de um carro, e encontrou o meu irmão Thibaut, um ornitólogo em Grenoble. Como disse, é mais rápido a voo de corvo. Amadou desenha e conta a epopeia que o levou a atravessar o deserto, o mar e as montanhas para chegar a França, três anos depois da sua partida da Guiné-Conacri.
SYNOPSIS:
Amadou left Guinea Conakry at the age of thirteen. Three years after his departure, he crossed the French border, hidden in the trunk of a car, and bumped into my brother Thibaut, an ornithologist in Grenoble. You said it, you are there faster as the crow flies. Amadou draws and puts into words the epic that saw him cross the desert, sea and mountains to reach France, three years after his departure from Guinea Conakry.

Clara Lacombe começou a trabalhar com criação sonora em Paris, trabalhou em filmes de animação em Angoulême e gravou pássaros nos Alpes. Ela está à procura de novas formas de contar histórias, combinando desenhos e ação ao vivo, animação e arquivos. AS THE CROW FLIES é o seu primeiro documentário de curta-metragem.

Clara Lacombe started with sound creation in Paris, worked on animated films in Angoulême and recorded birds in the Alps. She is looking for new modes of storytelling combining drawings and live action, animation and archives. AS THE CROW FLIES is her first short documentary.
