SINOPSE:
“Mamã Guiné” celebra a reconstrução da identidade de um povo dividido por etnias, mas unido pelo legado da terra e pelo ressoar do tambor. Essa diversidade cultural encontra sua maior expressão durante o Carnaval. O filme acompanha os preparativos para o festival, intercalados com entrevistas com artistas, músicos, sociólogos e historiadores, buscando desvendar a identidade guineense.
SYNOPSIS:
Mamã Guiné celebrates the reconstruction of the identity of a people divided by ethnicities, but united by the legacy of the land and the resounding of the drum. This cultural diversity finds its greatest expression during Carnival. The film follows the preparations for the festival, interspersed with interviews with artists, musicians, sociologists, and historians, seeking to uncover the Guinean identity.
